::Contest Entry:: MeKani Tsakir's Outfit

So I guess this requires explanation.

The flowy, green overshirt is supposed to go with her graceful personality as well as her woodland-pixie-like appearance. It would also help to camouflage her in the trees so she could blend in while running from animals/other trolls.

The turtleneck is there for three reasons:
1. It's gotta get chilly in the forest every now and again,
2. MeKani is an artsy character, and it doesn't get more artsy than layering with a turtleneck, and
3. I think that turtlenecks are adorable in every way. uvu
(Also it looked really bland without it.)

Then there's the shorts. They're simple and black, thereby going with trollkind's natural indifference to fashion, while also giving her the freedom to run, jump, and climg. They're long enough to be considered clothing, but short enough to be impossible to be caught on any brambles or branches when exploring the forest.

In the second sprite/base/picture/whatever, she has gymnast-like wrappings on her feet. These would help with not getting her feet injured, while not being nearly as bulky as shoes and also giving her feet the ability to flex and move so she can better keep her balance.
The first sprite doesn't have them, as I have always imagined Kani would probably go barefoot. Wild child, she is. uvu

And the third sprite...
The third sprite is an in-joke.
Ignore it, I guess.
